CASA Jasmine Tea is made from jasmine tea grown in the northern region of Vietnam. Jasmine flowers are picked at noon, before they bloom. After picking, the petals bloom at around 8pm, which is the ideal time for marinating the tea.
When the jasmine petals bloom, they change from pale green to opaque white. A layer of tea is spread with a layer of jasmine. The tea is marinated for 18-24 hours, then the petals are removed and the process is repeated with new flowers, typically done about 3 times to allow the jasmine fragrance to deeply penetrate the tea.
Natural jasmine tea has a slightly sweet aroma and the tea leaves have a green and black color.
