HMS Victory is a battleship carrying 104 cannons of the Royal Navy. It was laid down in 1759 and launched in 1765. She was famous for her role as her flagship in the Great Battle of Trafalgar under the command of Lord Nelson with the French Empire's first army.
HMS Victory was also the flagship of the Keppel era at Ushant, Howe's flagship at Cape Spartel, and that of Jervis at Cape St Vincent. After 1824, it became a port ship. In 1922, HMS Victory was moved to a dock in Portsmouth, England, and preserved as a museum ship. It continues to be the flagship of the Second Sea Lord and is the oldest naval ship still in service.
